Welcome to thewhitchurchweb forum.
This is where you can suggest, object to, praise, criticise anything related to Whitchurch (including its website)
I only ask that you are polite and as constructive as possible
Now over to you

Phil Why are we all categorised as 'newbies'? How come you have five stars and the rest of us only have one each? I THINK WE SHOULD BE TOLD!

The software that drives the site supplied by a company called Joomla does the calculations. I think you need 50 postings before you move up from being a newbie
As moderator - it's my site I get lots of stars - it's just like being the dictator in a banana republic your make yourself a 5 star general
If you start your own BB you too can become a Field Marshall!!!

Keith,
I have found a way to change the rules for you.
You are now officially a Hero Member (the highest ranking), those with the same number of posts as you (or more) are given the same grading
I did try to set up a special group for you so that you could have 6 stars but a bug prevented this - I have reduced my number of stars to 1
This is must be how the senior members of the Soviet regime operated!

Unfortunatley the board is a bit too well known!!! Everyday anything up to a dozen new "users" try to join. Around 99% are spammers using false email addresses trying to advertise products which I assume most if not all memebers don't need. Some are bit of a give away, those with "porn", "drugs" etc in the address or user name; the others I have to individually check out by looking at the IP addrees they come from, those from Russia, China and other dubious places are rejected, the remainder I have to send a personal email to asking for response to see if they are real -- occasionally I get it wrong a reject a real user. If this happens to you, my apologies. Please email [email protected] and I will sort the matter out Regards Phil
