Official Poppy Appeal organiser for Whitchurch, Christine Lynn, commends the admirable amount raised last year, but believes that with additional help the collection total could be significantly greater. Anyone over the age of 18 can be a volunteer, so long as they can show that they are a responsible person who would like the opportunity of working with young people.
