The second weekend of Christmas in Whitchurch
featured the Christmas Market in the Parish Hall between 10 and 3
with a small fairground in the White Hart car park.
Sixteen local craftsfolk
plus the Scouts and the Whitchurch Youth Project were busy selling
their wares to a constant stream of visitors. The Youth Project's
chocolate covered marshmallows were extremely well received (see top
left photo).
In addition to the stalls, the Whitchurch
Association had a display featuring the new Community Hall.

Organiser Stewart Parrington
was satisfied with the event and plans to bring it back, even
better, next year.
The pictures below include
the winners of the Christmas in Whitchurch Shop Window Odd One Out
competition, Alice Titcomb, Claire Miller and Harry Dixon; Jeanne
Tichener, one of the stallholders, won 150's worth of Garden
Consultancy from Artscapes. |
