christmas in whitchurch - the town centre revitalisation project's first activity
Christmas in Whitchurch 2005 was the first short term project
aimed at revitalising Whitchurch's Town centre - there is more

the December news archive page It was the winner
of the Social
and Community Section of the
South East Rural
Towns' Partnership annual awards and the organisers received a
certificate to mark the event, details are here. There have been 2 articles on the vent in SERTP's June and September Newsletters Work is well in hand for a bigger and better 2006 event, 16 business, 6 local groups and members of the Whitchurch Association were actively working on a programme of activities from the end of November until Christmas. These built on annual events such as Santa at the Mill and the Combined Churches Carol Singing. |
